Welder

The Bucket Shop is a Timmins, Ontario based mining equipment repair and manufacturing facility and is the exclusive Canadian distributor for Rhinowear Wear Products. Our field team, also known as Steeltec, has been deployed across Northern Ontario, and remote parts of Canada, to fulfill projects including welding and millwright services.
The Bucket Shop is growing again! We are in search for Welders, who will be responsible for welding, service & repair, prototype building and fitting.

Requirements:
• 5 years of experience welding preferred, direct experience in a field environment required
• Previous experience working on buckets and boxes in the mining sector
• Possess a valid drivers license
• Possess CWB certification
• Willingness and ability to travel to remote locations (pick-up/drop-off Timmins)
• Experience with routine maintenance operations, especially in mine and mill environments
• Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills and able to work well under pressure
Salary range is based on skills, experience and qualifications.

AZ Driver

The Bucket Shop Inc. requires an experienced AZ Driver to join our team. The Bucket Shop is a Timmins, Ontario based mining equipment repair and manufacturing facility and is the exclusive Canadian distributor for Rhinowear Wear Products. Our field team, also known as Steeltec, has been deployed across Northern Ontario, and remote parts of Canada, to fulfill projects including welding and millwright services.

The AZ Driver will be required to operate commercial motor vehicles safely and efficiently.  Commercial motor vehicles will include but are not limited to tractor trailers, flatbed trucks, dump trucks and other large vehicles depending on the specific job. The AZ driver will be required to transport and deliver goods and materials to customers, pick up materials or merchandise from customers or transport goods between different facilities or distribution centers.

 

Job Requirements

  • Class A driver’s license and air brake endorsement (Z) with a clean driving abstract
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with oral and written communication abilities, task prioritization, multi-tasking and time management.
  • High level of personal integrity
  • Strong work ethic
  • Professional/mature demeanor under stressful situations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Field Millwright

The Millwright is responsible for installing or dismantling machinery and equipment according to company plans, blueprints, and other diagrams. This will be accomplished through the safe and effective use of hoists, lift trucks, hand tools (supplied by employee), power tools, machinery and equipment (supplied by The Bucket Shop Inc). This position also requires that the Millwright troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic problems with associated equipment. The Millwright is also responsible for repairing malfunctioning equipment, such as motors, pumps, valves, controls, and other machines.

KEY TASKS & DUTIES:
• Inspect machinery as it arrives, unload the parts, and then assemble them with the safe and effective use of hand and power tools.
• Relocate unassembled equipment as it arrives, positioning the machinery and pieces that need to be assembled, using hoists, dollies, and trucks.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine work procedures.
• Welding tickets an asset

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in moving, assembling, disassembling, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of machinery and equipment
• Ability to detect, isolate, and identify irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
• Able to fabricate new parts to replace defective parts during machine  setup, maintenance, or overhaul.
• 3+ Years of Experience
