“With a great deal of success, we’ve employed The Bucket Shop Group for the past five years, to convert our full underground scoop bucket fleet to two-piece mechanical units. All our ST08’s, Toro’s, 700M’s and 6 yard buckets are all performing very well and have exceeded all expectation. Ease of front end change outs. A bucket can be made ready to go back to work once the lip is worn in under 3 hours. The savings in labour and down time alone has provided huge cost saving results.

We’ve complimented our bucket fleet with a suitable amount of spare front ends to ensure there’s always one available when the need arises. The Bucket Shop, having our best interest in mind have also made stock available to suit our interval needs.
Each front end is built up using their TBS range of lip castings. The TBS 1000 has delivered a 30% increase in service life and with continued design enhancement efforts, we expect to see even further life cycles.

To combat basket wear, we only use their TBS85 HiPER Heel castings. This attention to detail has enabled our company to benefit from having 3 – 4 front end change outs to one basket overhaul. The savings seen by having the right wear products on our buckets continues to be the driving factor in our success at reducing costs.
